Congratulations to David Redwood for winning the Picture of the Day competition for April 2008. The winning picture, Call to Prayers, scored 3.89 to beat Brown Pelican Landing by Mike Landwehr [3.84], in to second, and Golden Sunrise by Alan Carmichael [3.81], in to third place.

It's great to see excellent photography from some of the older cameras such as the PowerShot A75 that took tis month's winning picture. It's also proof that you don't need to use an EOS camera to take great pictures, the photographers vision, skill and timing are things you need for winning results.
